Southpaw John Parrish will head back to Baltimore for arthroscopic surgery on his left shoulder, a procedure that should tell him more about his injured joint. The left-hander has battled shoulder pain all spring and hasn’t been able to get up on the mound.
“He will probably have them look at his sholder to see if he has something wrong there,” said manager Dave Trembley. “I don’t know what you call it. It’s something that they’re going to have to go in there and see.”
Parrish has had prior reconstructive surgeries on his elbow and his knee during his career.
